Why did my Ring Gauge drop to 6. Did I piss someone off? I have been pretty decent to everyone. Help and let me know.

Is Ring Gauge important?

if you click on user controls, you can see who has given/taken RG to/from you. if you click on the link to the thread, it will show you which specific post you were given/dinged RG for. it will also tell you who did it and also a spot for "comment".

lastly, RG could be important, but it has since turned into a popularity contest. you should not worry about only being at 7 right now. just be active (but have something to say), stay within the rules (read them, and the stickies) and you'll be fine.

ps - some ppl feel discussing getting dinged as either "whining" or "phishing for sympathy RG". if you find out who dinged you by doing what i said above, and you still don't understand, you can always PM the person instead of making it public.

Ring gauge is not the most important thing at all. Stick around and be active in the forum, and things will even out in the long run
