Any other college students swamped with work??

Is it just me or has anyone else been swamped with schoolwork these past few weeks? I know its because the semester is coming to a close, but the stress is killing me! Since the beginning of this month I have done three 10 page papers, 4 exams as well as 8 other assignments. I'm actually forcing myself to take a break right now. Luckily this is my last week of school work, and Monday I will turn in my last assignment for the semester. This means I can resume smoking cigars regularly and continue reading around on CS all the time. Just curious to know how everyone else's semester is going?

I have had quite a bit of work recently as well. I think, like you said, it's because we are getting so close to the end of the semester. I feel like I had more work during the week before Thanksgiving though. How many hours are you taking? That could definitely have something to do with it.

Well this week I was suppossed to write a research paper and a narrative on dante's inferno got the narrative down this morning at 530 and the research paper being due thursday and 10 pages in lenght, but all the stress got taken off when the teacher told me it wasnt due til next tuesday and that really helped, but I do have to read a book by the dec eight and also had a take home quiz today and also just found out I missed a quiz on monday in my math class, lucky for me she drops the lowest one. These next couple weeks are probably the worst.

I hate to say it but I haven't had much to do lately. One little paper before thanksgiving and another due next Friday as well as a test. I'll have a good bit to do over my study break which begins December 8 but even then my exams are all at the beginning or end of the exam schedule so I'll have plenty of time to kill.

I haven't been swamped but Grad School is a lot different than UnderGrad. It is still work but more concentrated in one area. Not a lot of busy work.

I'm a college professor and I'm swamped with work, too ... if that makes you feel any better. Between grading, teaching, meetings, conferences, articles, books, research, etc., the end of semester stuff just makes things insane.

I'm swamped tonight but if I didn't procrastinate and used better use of my time I would almost never be swamped.

I just finished a dinky two page psychology report. Real simple but I took a few hours to do it between reading the material, typing, chatting with friends and watching televion. Now it is almost 1 in the morning and I have a Geology project I must start and finish- I have geology class at 7 later this morning. Not gonna be fun.

Then I get out of school around 12- and I have 6-7 hours of work (not school work) to do each day til saturday. The semester is almost finished though and I feel like I've done pretty well for my first semester of college

Well mine is self imposed. I procrastinated til the end of the semester having a good time and goofing off. Now to do what college students do best. Crank out work with deadlines fast approaching.

Why not SMOKE a cigar while working on your papers?? That's what I did during college.....except there were no cigars.....or cigarettes for that matter......

Unfortunately I fall into this category too. I have never been able to force myself to do something unless I'm pressured and have a deadline soon. I've always turned out good work but the stress really sucks and I need to figure out a way to force myself to get stuff done.
