Not of questioning authority or challenging the rules, of not having completely explored the websites I’ve linked to.

I search for specific information, rarely if ever looking at anything on the website beyond the scope of my research. That’s how I’ve ended up linking to more then one site that sells Stuff I was unaware they had anything to do with.

For this I sincerely apologize to Club Stogie as a whole.

As to cutting and pasting…

The information I’ve posted here, has been copied from a file on my computer.

I cut and paste from websites to a WPD document, information from multiple sources. These documents end up 5 or 6 pages or longer.

Afterwards the document is re-read… duplicate information deleted, what’s left is then summarized and edited.

What I’ve posted here, is the end result of hours of my effort. I have no idea what information came from where. This is done to learn about the topics, not to write a book or paper where it’s necessary to site every source of information.

If I was cutting & pasting directly from some website to CS, it would be easy to state exactly where the information came from, giving credit where credit is due, and I would. This is not the case.

The only one reason I’ve posted any of this… is the belief that it’s of interest and benefit to the membership of Club Stogie.

if things hold true to form here come the bumps. Honestly I think the people that know what you are talking about have seen the discussion in the thread and understand it was a mistake, and for me personally it wasn't an issue any more. I don't know that this apology thread or explanation was necessary, but I understand what you are trying to do and I hold no animosity towards you for the faux pas. Post on brother

I also found his posts informative, and thought his concept was coming from a contributors mindset. I think this also serves as a reminder to all of us to make sure what we link is 100% okay within the rules and guidelines of CS and that we make sure to list sources when at all possible.

I think Pnoon deserves a private thank you as he was the one who took the time to clean up the posts before the

had time to set in.

The only problem I have is that your posts in the other forums were in fact cut and paste word word from other websites. In this thread you try to make it sound like that was not the case. You could have simply said Im sorry in the other thread and from now on you plan on giving credit to the author of the material that you cut and paste from and made it look as if it were your own original writings.
