Georgia Bulldogs!! Nothing better than watchin them with the sound turned down and Munson on the radio! Well I take that back....the view from Sanford Stadium is always pretty...nothing like watching the game with 92,058 of your closest friends.

If I had to pick a second it would be my alma mater - Valdosta State University - DII Football powerhouse!

We need to take a poll of some kind and see which team has the best representation Club Stogie. With Treyjo, flipflop, and Bayou Dawg, and me, I think the silver britches are well represented.

Galaga, I'm not ashamed to say that I cried when old Lewis died. He was the embodient of what it means to be southern and of all things southern.....grits, hound dogs, barbeque, Georgia football, family, and his Mama. He falls into the same category as Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn - you wonder how music and humor would be different today if they hadn't left us so early.
All of his articles and books are tremedously funny, but the one book you have to have is the one that was written by his ex-wives and his friends - its sort of a posthumous biography of stories and memories..the title is "Don't Fence Me in: An Anecdotal Biography of Lewis Grizzard". It really gives a lot of background to some of his funniest stories and tales. Of all his books, this is a must have.

Have to congratulate you dawgs on toppling Notre Dame on my “Absolutely Can’t Stand” list. At least ND has a winning tradition to fall back on. Now at least there’s one team in the SEC I can stand… LSU. Whoopin UGA twice in one season???? Hmmm- maybe they ain’t so bad.

While I like college ball....I don't really have a favorite team. But I'll root for Penn State, since a lot of my family lives around there. And any team that is playing againt either Florida teams.
