Weber Charcoal Grill = grilling nirvana

So, they don't allow charcoal grills at my apartment for some stupid reason. I've been grilling with a cheap-o gas grill for the last few years after giving away my old, seasoned, full of character, Weber charcoal BBQ. (weep) I have missed it so much and thought I'd never taste that wonderful smokey cooking again when I stumbled into my local Longs Drug store and found all their Weber stuff 30% off. I walked out with a brand new, one-touch silver, 22.5 inch Weber kettle. I have to go out and grill by the garage but it is so worth it. To anyone who hasn't experienced the glory of a blazing charcoal grill, a fine homebrew, and a well seasoned cigar, you are missing out on one of life's greatest pleasures and most excellent fare. I broke it in right with some hawaiian chicken kabobs, marinated portabellas, and grilled bell peppers. One of the best meals I'd had in a very long while.

Ahh yes, the perfection of a summer evening, a charcoal fire, and a fine cigar!

I know exactly how you feel. I love my weber, had it for over 10 years. Gas grills simply cannot come close to the flavor, aroma, and quality of a real fire. My wife continually harps on the convenience of a gas grill, but to me there is no comparison.
