Would love to see an 85' rematch, just so we could prove the Bears are a superior team to the Patsies. By the way the Pats winning more Super Bowls does not mean they are superior. If the two teams do not play in the Super Bowl they can not be compared since they are from two confrences.

The Bears defense is leaky, at best right now. Their pass rush has been blah for the last six weeks. A rematch would be fun, but I don't see them beating the Saints this weekend, let alone the Pats.

Not sure what that would prove, and I am a Bears fan.

The Bears were the best team in the NFL in 1985. Beating the Pats in the Super Bowl this year would prove they were the best in 2006, but clearly the Pats have had a better team most of the last decade. If the Pats are making it to the SB and the Bears are not in previous years, to me that means the Pats were superior. If the Bears could not beat the team who lost to the Pats in the SB, or even get in the playoffs, how could you say the Pats were not the better team that season?

Ok you heard it here first..The Bears will beat the Saints (dome teams are terrible outside) and the Pats will beat the Colts..Superbowl winner is the Pats.

That is why it is easier to stick to your guns and say if they haven't played against one another there is no proof. Actually we are both wrong, you can really never know who the better team is unless they played each other thousands of times and one lost every time. The law of averages would give you a good idea.
