Doubtful. He's not a jazz musician. He has a record of hiring accomplished jazz musicians, and when they are no longer an anonymous member of his band, he lets them go (like Branford, Chris Botti, etc), but he himself is not a jazz musician, he's a pop musician (and a good one).
