Date announced for last Potter Book!!

I need to do some catching up beforehand then. I've only read the first four.

I think they're good for what they are which is an easy, relaxing read (for adults). When I read the fourth I was having a difficult time putting it down. (I'm not sure if I should admit that, but what the heck).

I've read every one....and once I get through this last one I will probably re-read them all because I'm sure I forgot a decent amount...or maybe I'll start reading them now and then be finished in time for the new 1! w00t

I am not excited about it, but I will be getting a copy for the kids.

I probably read it, or at least audible it when it comes out. I thought there were supposed to be more than this?

The movie of the 5th one is coming out a week before the seventh book.

As far as more than that, JK Rowling stated on several occasions that she is only writing seven books in this series as that will take Harry to the end of school. Whether she will write something else in the same universe after that is a different question.

well unless he dies (which i wouldn't doubt happening cuz she kills off all my fav. ppl like edit: removed names for ppl who haven't read...aren't i nice) I don't know how should could stop writing something so profitable.....maybe continue the series for his adult life

Yes, I should expect that even if she's not thinking of doing anymore with it, she'll probably be persuaded into it by the fans and/or publishers and bring out another or something using other characters.
