Damascus, Syria - While taping the final season of "Baghdad Bob Speaks", somewhere in Syria, the colorful former Iraqi Information Minister collapsed and died while taping his final live, pre-recorded news release, for the Al-Jazeera Satellite network.

When the production crew first noticed Baghdad Bob turning purple, they didn't think anything of it. Ali Waffle, long time cameraman for Baghdad Bob said BB often turned purple when he was telling lies.

"I knew something was wrong, I just knew it, so, I checked the cue cards for spelling errors, they appeared to be fine", said Sinban Goofbarla, Baghdad Bob's cue card holder, explaining he knew from past experiences a typo existed.

Goofbarla continued to check the cue cards for errors, meanwhile Baghdad Bob collapsed to the floor and started kicking and frothing from the mouth, according to Ali Waffle, the cameraman, who continued filming.

"The situation was getting very bad, I started to fear for his life, so I helped Sinban search the cue cards for the error. I didn't want to see Sinban executed over a typo", said Waffle.

When it became obvious Baghdad Bob was choking to death, it was too late. A doctor was later called to the set and pronounced Baghdad Bob dead. In the official death certificate leaked to the media, Dr. Omar al Shar, listed the cause of Baghdad Bob's death as, "Choking to death on his own words".
