Ok, so i was reading the gamers post, and i got a flood of memories from my CS days... been a junkie since beta 2.. finally broke the habit a few years ago..

When i think back, ive been playing that game for almost 10 years or something.. thats insane! i cant think of any game that has the staying power to be so popular for so long!!

So heres a stroll down memory lane

I was always more of a DOD guy, but I still wake up in the middle of the night sometimes hearing "bomb has been planted".

I never did get into Cs. Never really been into FPS. One game that comes to mind that has been running just as long if not longer is UO. That game has been going forever and is still going fairly strong.

I skipped two finals to play CS my Freshman year in college.

Luckily I don't suffer from an addictive personality...

Remember the old dod_omaha map? You could climb the walls and go underground in the nazi bunkers? God, I loved that version.

I would love wall camping. Just sit there and unload all your clips under a bridge and take out half the team. Then go on to kill the rest with your deagle. So cheap =D
