I used to be into road cycling. I did a few criterium and a time trial. I also planned and did a ride from Columbia, MD, where I live, to the Pittsburgh area, where I grew up. 130 miles the first day (over the mountains)!

Now I have three kids and cycling takes too long so I have been running. But I haven't run for a few months and I am afraid that my desire to smoke cigars in the morning may trump my desire to get back into shape!!\

Never did a triathalon though.

Darb85, this is going to probably be a dumb question. There is a 5 mile swim around the bottom of Florida somewhere and I can not find the info. It was listed in Muscle Fitness or Men's Health and I was hoping I had kept it. The only thing I can remember about it was that during the swim you'd pass a float bar. I believe it was by the Keys.

This swim seemed interesting and I thought I'd make a challenge for myself and train to drown in the ocean, but damned if I can't find it now.

If anyone else has any idea I'd appreciate some info. Just hoping someone is into that area of sport.

dont know if thell have it or not but they have all sorts of events. Other wise search on open water swims in florida. im sure itll pop up. Try going to Mens fintess website or whatever mag it was in as well. Good luck
