Snus/dip users?

I am a religious Copenhagen user (can a day) and I'm taking a shot at some Snus. Just put in an order for 7 cans and a portioner. Got a can of General Loose right now and I'm loving it.

Gustavus Original, loose snus ( 1 can )
Ettan, loose snus ( 1 can )
Roda Lacket, loose snus ( 1 can )
Nick and Johnny Loose Snus ( 1 can )
Goteborgs Rape, loose snus ( 1 can )
General, loose snus ( 1 can )
Skruf Stark, loose snus ( 1 can )

Anyone else here dip or snus? Hope I'm not a loner...

snus is that stuff that you put in your nose isnt it??

I tried dip a few times in high school but I was much cooler smoking cigs.... (right)

You're thinking about nasal snuff. Snus is like the Swedish counterpart to American 'dip'. It supposedly has far less TSNAs (Tobacco-Specific Nitrosamines) and a higher amount of nicotine delivery. They come in pouches, which are very similar to the American version, and Loose which almost looks like dirt. I'll send you a can of Cope to try with that cigar The snus is probably easier for you to get over there.

I give golf lesson to this guy, nice guy anyway about 20 min into the lesson he has to blow his nose (understandable it was cold out) and all this black stuff comes out.. Im thinking WTH is that?!?!?! then he pulls out his little can and sniffs some more up his nose.. wow what we do for our nic fix??

Yeah the nasal snuff is pretty nasty lol I don't think I could ever shove tobacco up my nose

It is pretty nasty...but I've tried it, and it is not without it's charms. Instant rush... I guess it's like the nicotine equivalent of smoking a rock!

I occasionally enjoy snus, I have tried the Gustavus and General. They are very different from the traditional US "dip" such as Kodiak, Skoal, etc. Most snus blends use only tobacco, salt, water, and casings. The flavor is much different - and better - at least to me.

Also, snus is theoretically supposed to have less health issues due to purification.

I also like Wise purified snus and Gustavus White.

I started dipping again.. only do 1-2 a day of skoal mint when I'm in the car. Any places around here where I can get just 1 thing of this snus you talk of... interested in trying it.

Probably not likely to find it many places in the states. You can buy it from northerner.com or swedishmatch.com. Like omowasu said, the taste is so different from the US stuff. I can never give up my Copenhagen though

I quit dipping Copenhagen, and it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do... Copenhagen snuff is like candy to me man, I knew I had a problem when I wouldn't even take out my lip to eat an MRE in the field I still throw in a loosey when I drink too much though

I still have no grasped the art of dipping snuff lol it always breaks up in my mouth

Dude, I have a cast iron stomach! Now, the only time I dip is when I get together with the fellas to throw down beers. There's something very right about the world when you have a lip full of Cope snuff and a mouth/belly full of cheap beer

I could back when I was dipping, I usually didnt even spit. I also was a Cope man.

It's all in the packing... Obviously, you have to pack the dip (three good snaps is fine), then open the can, when you grab the tobac take a big pinch with two fingers and use the side wall of the can to make a tight ball of the dip. Then, open mouth, shove said dip between teeth and gums, and finally close mouth and enjoy! As RJT said, you'll be gutting it in no time...
