According to the article that leaves only 4 known people left that served in WW1. 3 from the army and 1 that was in the Canadian army. Is sad to see such an important group from history will likely be completely gone soon |

Thanks for the heads up. It's vital that we keep the sacrifice and service of people like this in the forefront of our mind. More often than not people of significance pass from this world with barely a turn of the head from those of us who daily reap the rewards of their hard work and dedication.
I've tried to communicate this to my 10 and 13 year old. I hope it sinks in.

See.....despite what Tech-Ninja and others think, there is now some absolute, definitive proof that I wasn't in the Navy that far back!
