Hello. I wanted to share some photos of my trip to Korea just to give fellow BOTL a glimpse of Seoul.

Photos of my trip....



AFter a short flight to Chicago.. this is my bird for a 13 hour journey. I like the big birds.



This is the view outside my parents apartment. This is a suburb of Seoul.. about 20 minutes subway to the city.



A view from a morning walk I took. This is a block from my folks place. The mountains in the distance are the type my dad would hike daily.

I think I missed the cherry blossom blooms by a few weeks.

A pedestrian bridge over a walking path on the way to the subway station. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the closest station.



Shops during the day from the night photos above.



More landscaping. This is across the pedestrian bridge going to the JW Marriott and Shinsegae Department store. I ate a lot of meals at Shinsegae.



On the bridge. I thought this street view was pretty cool.



Seoul is always busy with construction.

This is right outside the subway to COEX (Convention and Exhibition Center). I was on my way to the Intercontinental Grand to visit what is listed as an LCDH.





This dude on the moped almost ran me over. Delivery guys on mopeds will ride on the sidewalks and just about run you over.



The entrace to the Intercontinental Grand.. Nice place.



The birds lined up at the terminal outside of Incheon International Airport. I think one of these were mine. This airport has an amazing duty free setup all over the terminal.

I tried in Shinsegae, but they wouldn't let me take photos. But you're right the food is amazing ! It's what I grew up on. Mom cooks the best. Korean food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but of course mom just calls it food.. hah
