Not even close $1500 a day 100 miles, $1.50 per mile. Plus I got another $200 off the daily rate.

Wow someone is really getting ripped off !! $3000 a day !!!

Re: What kind of car do you drive?

With that said I had some very good option trades. Lets just say over 350% gain in just a few days, so I thought I would drive a car I've always wanted to try. I guess you could say it was a celebration of sorts !!

I guess next time I'll just buy some Dom Perignon's.

Hey, the Later remarks weren't very classy of I. I guess it's like the Opus X for me. I can afford it but it's just not enough bang for the buck(maybe a nice used one for 40K).

Then again I'm a car nut and unlike the average Beamer owner I can do major wrench work to build something that would destory it in a straight line(acceleration isn't rocket science) and hang with her on a track.

As for your analogie, I'd say your spot on but when your talking about 100K+ cars and worse Million dollar cars your talking about principles. Even Bill gates was quoted somewhere saying how insane it would be if he was driving around in a million dollar McClaren with people in his own country starving to death and being laid off by corporate evil/greed.

Nice BMW's! Somewhere in my garbage(eerr Garage if it where clean) I have nice ass headers for ya'lls M3.

Peace

Re: What kind of car do you drive?

John, that Toyota is a very nice truck. My Dad has a 4-door Limited TRD. That 4.7 is probably the most refined engine of any truck I've driven. He owns a business and has owned just about every make of truck out there and says the Toyota is the best truck he's ever had. I'd like to drive the new Tundra /w the 5.7 V8. That thing is supposed to be downright fast.

Re: What kind of car do you drive?

Nice Trailblazer! We may get one of those when we get tired of the Rubicon. Actually tossed between that and the SRT-8 Grand Cherokee. Actually with us moving to NC and taking big pay cuts either one may be a pipe dream for awile. Right now I have a 2005 Rubicon. Before that it was a 2004 CTS that I never drove because I worked in Manhattan and I refused to leave it at the train station so I went with something I knew I would drive everyday and not need a beater for the trainstation. I am still kicking myself for trading my CTS in for a Rubicon that has power nothing. The wife drives a 2004 Grand Cherokee that the lease is just about up on and she is looking to get into a 2007 Altima 2.5S or a Honda Accord EX coupe. We looked into the 07 Civic SI Coupe but she feels it's too small. Oh well, I tried! It would have been fun though!
By the way the Rubicon has a 4.5" Rubicon Express lift with 33" Nitto Mud Grapplers.

Yup. With everything, it all is relative...the key is being happy with that you own.
