Hangover Cures

I'm always curious to hear about people's hangover cures.

For me if it's really bad I take the good old ibuprofen. Sometimes if I know I have to work the next morning I drink a few glasses of water while I'm drinking and I usually don't get them.

This morning my friend did the drink the hangover out method.

What methods do you have? Any home made concoctions of your own?

All there is to it is to do something that gets your mind off your hangover. Like maybe shooting yourself in the foot or something else like that.

Have to have a big greasy breakfast with lots of bread too, Ibuprofin and lots of Gatorade.

Or two storng Bloody Marys

Besides lots of water and the Alka Seltzer the night before, I like to follow up with a BC Powder (contains caffeine) and plenty of hydration the next morning.

I never really get hangovers. I've been nauseated, and as a result thrown up the next morning (only about three times), but after I puke, its all good, so...

get hang overs no matter how little i drink, i found a guide ages ago on making and recovering from a hang over which is Here.
that has a hang over cure page 5, which sounds promising; although i've yet to try it.

What works for me personally, is to drink a pint of water before sleeping, and wake up early, before 9, then drink a good home made fruit smoothie. works 99% of the time for me. If i wake up late, i just puke lol.
Even when i went to bed at 5, i got up at 8, and felt 100 times better. even if i only have a few cans of beer getting up early does the world of good .

and fruit smoothies rock!

I could be wrong, but hangovers are caused by dehydration of the brain.
So the obvious answer is to drink water.

They also have this pill called CHASER which you take before you drink and is supposed to get rid of hangovers the next day.

One thing I want to add to this. A lot of people think hangovers are due to drinking a sh_t load but it's not always the case.

One time I had only one glass of champagne that was really cheap that a nightclub supplied on New Years. Only had one glass and didn't drink anything else that night (it was a pretty lame party). In the morning I woke with a bitch of a headache and I only had one glass!

Do you think if an alcohol was cheaply made it can be a lead cause to my/your hangover or you think it was due to something else?
