Last night I just finished the first installment of Dylan's autobiography, 'Chronicles, Vol. 1'. 2 more volumes to come. Of course I'll be long dead and gone if they take as long as the first to come out.

Re: What books are you reading?

I usually have a couple going at once. Right now:

The Devil in the White City by Eric Larson (Non-fiction about the 1893 Chicago World's Columbian Exposition)

Re-reading Einstein's Dreams by Alan Lightman

and

Uncle John's SLIGHTLY IRREGULAR Bathroom Reader

WTF, did they re-release that, under the title "Blade Runner"!!!?? If so, that REALLY sucks. "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" is the title of the book.

Douglas Adams is the man. One of my all time favorites. Did you know taht they are making a movie?

Right now I am rereading Walden and Civil disobedience by Thoreau. Always a good read.

I am also reading Requiem for a dream but I forget the name of the Author. This book is very disturbing, much like the movie.

Re: What books are you reading?

Cool - Philip K Dick references! Horrendously underrated/underread. The Valis trilogy are some of my all-time favorite page-turners. - I agree it is annoying that they put androids back out as Blade Runner, but I bet it helped sales!

On the nightstand/reading table right now:

Prague by can't-remember-his-name - Great first novel
I Am That - Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
Beyond Belief - Elaine Pagels
