One Year Anniversary at Club Stogie!!!
Wow! Seems like today is my 1 Year Anniversary here at Club Stogie!! (Applause!) Now, it may not be a major milestone, but it's a start! Where has the past year gone? It seems like it was only yesterday when I actually had money and my sanity. But since I met all of you good people, I now have no money and Mrs. Motortown thinks I'm crazy!

All kidding aside, it's been a tremendous amount of fun. I've met some really wonderful people around here who have shared their knowledge (and their cigars!). You guys & gals have always made me feel welcome. I've learned a great deal about my favorite hobby, and have had a blast doing it. I've done trades and box splits, have sent people cigars, and have had people ask me for my address out of the blue, just so they could send me stuff to try (and it's rarely one or two sticks!). How cool is that?! It's called "giving back". You LLGs know who you are. Once again, it's deeply appreciated. As I've gotten more and more into this, I try to do my part as well. It's what it's all about.

So again, many, many thanks to all of the quality people here at Club Stogie who have made me feel right at home. After ordering that Avallo cabinet humidor, I'm in this for the long haul. I wouldn't have it any other way!

congrats, john.

i remember when i first started smoking good cigars. some great guys sent me a couple to try, and the only thing they told me was to take care of some decent newbies that i ran across in the future. similar to a "pay it forward" type of deal... i'm tryin' best i can.

some great guys on here as well have taken very good care of me when i've had the many newbie questions....
