It's disgusting.

And Chill out with the language and hostility eh?
The VA is like stepping back in time. I didn't realize it until my dad fell ill I took him there. His VA has very good doctors but, you have to jump through hoops to get anything done.

That's a great standard...one which if applied across the board to all media stars and starlets (be they political, entertainment, corporate, or otherwise) would help elevate civil dialog in this country...

...although it appears you don't subscribe to that line of thinking entirely, as you're not willing to extend MM the same courtesy you were willing to extend to Bush or Limbaugh.

Whether or not the situation where Bush *not speaking the truth* equates to MM *outright lying* isn't really the point, is it?

Both Bush and MM are bent on manipulating our emotions (e.g. "love" or "hate" them) to evoke support for their positions. Disliking MM because he's effective at motivating emotions is no different from Moveon.org disliking Rove because he's just as effective at doing the same thing.

I'm not trying to call anyone out; I just don't get why it's okay to apply one standard to one group, but not to others. While I think a guy like Rove is the worst thing to have happened to this country since Nixon, I know he's intelligent and I respect his effectiveness.

All's fair in love and war, folks.

And let's get off that old "liberal media bias" bandwagon. I mean, yawn. What used to be the big three media outlets are corporate-owned (and editorially-driven by shareholder returns), while that famous liberal Rupert Murdoch is cramming "fair and balanced" down everyone's throats. So please, find a new argument.

This is playing right into his hands... free publicity, OH poor Michael Moore the evil government is trying to stop him from showing his brilliant documentary that exposes... yeah, this just made him an extra million or two... wonder who leaked this info... the evil government or one of his publicists.

MM is an *ss plain and simple. It is people like him that are killing the Democratic party. Why in Gods name he was allowed to sit in the presidential seats at the 2004 Democratic Convention is beyond me (Dont get me wrong as a Conservative Im glad he did). Way to prove the Democrats have caved to the far left Kerry. Bravo

No, it's just that Bush (Being a partisan political figure) and Limbaugh (A commentator) are not in the same business as mainstream news outlets which are supposed to produce objective journalism. Limbaugh has healthy track record concerning his commetary because it's just that- commentary. Moore on the other hand does not. Even other liberals and others which know him do not respect his methods or what he does. I am sorry if it tires you to hear the truth about how liberal the mainstream Media is, but guess what? It is true!

Fatass MM is another distinction completely- he deliberately distorts and lies in his movies to achieve a political point. The problem is that too many liberals tend to like it when he does (There are many liberals that despise him and find his faux populist blue collar charade revolting and the height of tepid hypocrisy). Rove has not produced films that deliberately either distort or assail peoples' reputations. Rove is a political operative, much the same as James Carville or Paul Begala.

MM on the other hand is two bit partisan hack who perpetuates myths and lies so that he can enrich himself while tearing down other people. Motivating emotions is one thing- being an outright liar and scoundrel is another.

For the record: Rupert Murdoch is a moderate (He has contributed to both Conservatives and Liberals over the years (George Bush, Al Gore, Hillary Clinton) and will continue to do so. I don't agree with Murdoch and his assessments often but he does know how to run a news agency and he doesn't allow his employees to spike stories like liberal media outlets tend to do.

If MM is going to keep showing up in the news then I wish he would learn how to wear a freaking cap. Come on.

My daughter informs me that it's called "trucker style." All the kids are doing it, apparently.
