Both Bush and MM are bent on manipulating our emotions (e.g. "love" or "hate" them) to evoke support for their positions. Disliking MM because he's effective at motivating emotions is no different from Moveon.org disliking Rove because he's just as effective at doing the same thing.

I'm not trying to call anyone out; I just don't get why it's okay to apply one standard to one group, but not to others. While I think a guy like Rove is the worst thing to have happened to this country since Nixon, I know he's intelligent and I respect his effectiveness.

What used to be the big three media outlets are corporate-owned (and editorially-driven by shareholder returns), while that famous liberal Rupert Murdoch is cramming "fair and balanced" down everyone's throats. MM may not be going about it the right way, but the fact of the matter is our health care sucks! It needs some serious help and I'm glad more and more people/companies (Including the big 3 automakers) are stepping up and making it known that our health care system is NOT working anymore. It's not working for the companies that provide it for their employees and it's not working for the employees anymore either.

IMO Bashing Michael Moore over his documentaries is just a fantastic way to deflect from the real issues at hand because nobody wants to deal with it.

If anyone wants to see a real douche bag, take a look at the guy sitting in the Oval Office. In the next century Stem Cells will end up curing 80-90% of ailments that people suffer from, and this guy thinks it's a BAD thing? Stem Cells will be the miracle cure for cancer, aids, spinal disc replacement, organ replacements for people who need it and thousands of other things.

I'll just have to agree to disagree here. While I may not agree with MM's methods, they are absolutely NO different than our "esteemed" president, or anyone else in power for that matter, and the double standard held by a few sickens me.

Supposedly we're the greatest country on earth. We've got 3-4 million homeless at any given time, and we have 36,000,000 Americans (a VERY large portion of them WORKING) with no health ins. And the ones that are lucky enough to have it have to deal with so much crap sometimes that they might as well NOT have it at all. It's a sick freaking joke is what it is.

I am sorry but what somebody else does, does not justify what Michael Moore does. He is a liar and parasite plain and simple.

When I think about our health care system I think about the old saying by Churchill concerning Democracy. It is the worst form of government except for all the other ones. I do not believe our health care system is perfect, but compared to shit-holes like Cuba or "wait 6 months for kidney dialysis" Canada, I believe ours is not that bad. Socialized Medicine deprives people of health care. It's rampant rationing and long waiting lists for simple preemptive procedures causes more deaths than a Kennedy behind the wheel of a car. Private health care is far more preferable than the endless cycle of misery caused by Socialized Medicine.

I believe our health care system has it's fair share of problems, but it is much better than the hell on earth systems developed by the Marxists and their darling sycophants who plague Europe and the rest of the world. If anyone doesn't believe so; hitch a ride with Fatass next time he wants to kiss Castro's ass. Maybe you can get some "quality" health care in a building that isn't crumbling around you.

Well me personally I think he is making a mockery of the documentary film genre. When I look at a documentary (seldom ever happens) I look for it to basically be truthful. Now even fans of MM have come out and said he bends and stretches the facts to fit his current personal vendetta against the American government. Don’t get me wrong the first amendment gives us freedom of speech, but he needs to label his films what they are and it’s not a documentary more like propaganda.
