Angry I’m being sued
Over an accident that happened in Jan. 05. I have to go to court on June 6th wish me luck. I will put out more details when the smoke clears. The moral of the story never let someone borrow your car unless you are ready to pay for there mistakes.

Good luck! I just had to go through a court ordeal myself. 1st time in my 42
yrs. It was not fun, but it turned out ok. Just expensive.

Man, sorry to hear. It's a shame the way thing work these days. As an employer and a manufacturer, I've been through similar experiences a couple of times. Blantantly fabricated BS on both occasions, and the plaintiffs got nowhere, but stressful and expensive nonetheless. Good luck, I hope things work out for you.

The suit has been filed for about a year and a half. I just thought it was done after her attorney's kept dropping her. It wasn't until this morning I found out I have a court date and it's going to a jury trial.

SOL's would be specific to each state. Here's a resource for those who need it:

It's important to note that a SOL applies to the commencement of suit, not dispostion. So long as the suit is commenced timely, that's all that matters.

Ray you're in Kentucky so I presume the suit was filed no later than one year after the accident?

It was filed just a few days short of the year if memory serves me right. I had already moved so I never got served the papers.
