for some excellent dulcimer and mandolin playing in a lively folk/rock/funk setting, you should check out Bonepony (www.bonepony.com). Find a copy of Stomp Revival if you can!

How do you like the JMP1? Does it provide that vintage marshall tone that you'd get from the JCM series amps? I've always been curious about these and haven't heard one that I can remember.

She may not be pretty or fancy ...
But she's been with me for 35 years now ...

Seems there are plenty of guitar lovers here... I thought I'd switch it up a little. First pic is a shot of my Bach TR300 trumpet & the second shows the artwork on our Didge. I'll have to dig around & see if I have a pic of the whole instrument.

Those are all my toys. The Gretsch is far and away my favorite guitar.

Its a 2005 Gretsch 6120 SSLVO Brian Setzer Edition with TV Jones pickups.

The strat copy is a Fernandes, was my first guitar, now has EMG David Gilmores in it.

The Tele is just a mexican tele for no other reason than I wanted a cheap tele.

The ESP/LTD Explorer is a left over remnant from when I was infatuated with Metallica when I was like 15 years old.

And the Acoustic is a Fender "Big Tex" that I loved the Cowgirl detail on and it plays so big and bassy i had to have it.

I've since added a Fender Banjo for my birthday as well.

Sorry, just saw this. I love the JMP1, it's extremely versatile and has great clean tones, standard marshall rock tones, and full on grind metal tones. It's important to run it through a good tube amp, as I've heard one run through a solid state power amp and it sounded like crap. Though when recording I ran it straight into the board and it still sounded pretty good.

Oh, and that Gretsch is the sexy.
