After playing it for a year, I am starting to hear the "synthesized" sound quite a bit more. Using it through a Pod definitely helps. The acoustic guitars sound the most "plinky" and not quite real. I do enjoy being able to program in alternate tunings and go to them with a flick of the switch.

Re: Your Guitar(s) & Instruments—Photos Please

There has to be someone else out there that plays a Stand-Up bass. I have had mine for about 7 years now - it is an inexpensive Korean model but with split maple back and an ebony finger board. I played with a Gospel/country/bluegrass group for most of that time, but now just play the odd Sunday with it.

Carry on music brothers!

My violin/fiddle. Been playing for about 12 years. Big thanks to my four year old niece for breaking the string off last week...

And my bass I've been playing for five years.

Re: Your Guitar(s) & Instruments—Photos Please

cool instruments guys! I am a pretty terrible guitarist but I enjoy messing around while watching tv. I don't have any of my guitars on me now (I'm currently playing on some no name half sized guitar that my roommate has) but I have an old left handed Guild Dreadnought and a Marshall 12 string.

I enjoy playing so I'm looking forward to getting better!

I'm no guitarist more of a incompetent noodler but it is still fun and I love guitars as an art object. Here are my two very basic guitars.

Don't have a pic of my ovation that I can find, but it looks like this one.

I've got a Peavy Backstage plus that I can't find a pic of also.
