I'm obsessed with sepia tone (pictures included)

So I have been playing around a lot with some of my photography, and I am now finding that I love everything in sepia tone. The first thing I do now with every picture I take is turn them to Sepia and see how they look. I LOVE Black and White, but sepia is all that is on my mind. Here are a few of my recent shots.

This shot was taken last night on one of my "midnight photography with a cigar" walks.

These two pictures were taken for band promo shots. The reason I love these pictures (especially the bottom pic) is these pictures capture the pure essence of their personalities. If you knew these two people, you could look at these pictures and think...yup...that's them alright.

This is a random shot I took about a year ago that I just touched up today. I didn't really like the picture until I turned it sepia.

Feedback, both positive and constructive, is always welcome.

Enjoy

I, too, love sepia photos. Ever since I saw a sepia photo of SRV, I was hooked with that tone. I really like the first photo you posted. Nice work!

Nice photos! It gives them a very "vintage" look, doesn't it?

Which camera do you use?

Thats where I saw it, was it in the liner notes of one his cds Mel?

They look great Bobbbbbb, especially like the RR track pic. Another one of those things I always wanted to try(like the guitar) but have been to damn lazy to do over the years. I always thought B&W was so kewl taken early morning, lines of workers in the winter walking to the coal mines sort of stuff. Steam and smoke comming from the workers heading in for another hard day in the mines, the expressions on their faces are amazing. Hating their job but happy to have work to feed their families.

I like the sepia as well. It is a great addition to certain pictures. Your camera is very crisp. To add a little character, you might switch over to manual focus and take it out of focus just a hair. It will make the bw/sepia prints look very authentic and add an heir of antiquity. I got a few of my sepia pictures around here somewhere. I will try to find them.

I also love the B/W and Sepia tones. I have the Canon XTi and just recently bought a book on it. Imagine my surprise to find out it has built in filters for B/W .

Still learning the camera and stuff - but I love it.

Exactly bro. Just like that. It takes a true talent to take a scene that one sees every day and portray it as unique. Keep it up man. Your making me want to break out my camera.

I think it was. Here it is, but it doesn't look "as sepia" as some of the others I've seen. It was a photograph by Bill Williams.
