Question Favorite James Bond Actor
I'm a big 007 fan.

I know most people will probably say Sean Connery is your # 1 Bond but I'll ask any.

So, which actor do you like best? I'll start.

I like Timothy Dalton and Daniel Craig equally. Dalton was the only actor who spent the time to read Casino Royale while the others didn't even bother from what I've heard.

I suggest reading the actual books as the character Ian Fleming envisioned is a cold, dark kind of character that doesn't always order Martini's. In fact he sometimes has whiskey and water, pink champagne and almost always eats high class food.

Let's hope the next film is good and less product placement. (Sony...cough, cough) and keep the gadgets to a minimum.

I am a Bond fan as well... Connery is my first choice. The first Bond film I ever saw was "Diamonds are Forever" and I have a crush on Jill St. John to this day.

I enjoyed Craig, but I liked Brosnan very well. Timothy Dalton never got a fair shake IMHO. He was saddled with lesser scripts.

I just never really liked Roger Moore. Didn't feel he had the delivery for the witty remarks... always came across smug to me and didn't have the physical presence of the other actors. I look forward to the other responses.

One comment about Roger Moore I read somewhere I'll never forget is this:

"Roger Moore in his later films was hard to believe because when he was next to the Bond Girl he looked so much older than them that he could've been their Grandpa".

I liked em all except George Lazenby. Craig nails the bad ass, but in The World Is Not Enough when Electra King laughs at Bond ( Brosnan ) and sez you won't kill me and Bond taps her dead bang and moves on, now that was stone cold. Brosnan gets my vote for the iceman.
