Rough Day Relatively Speaking
Well, I was on my way to a training class in Raleigh and my trusty old Ford Taurus threw a rod. I was 150 miles from home and things could have been worse but not a fun day.

I'm really sorry to hear that Scott. Car troubles never happen at a good time.
But, if you had bought the mule like I told you too, this whole problem could have been avoided. Transportation and entertainment all in one. Never had my mule throw a rod, and itmakes those lonely nights in the hotels a little more bearable.  |

Yikes!! Sorry to hear about the car trouble. Nothing is worse than the look of joy on the service writers face when an "out of towner" has a vehicle towed in.

Ouch Scottie. But I can empathize with you. Once had my Ford Van throw one out the bottom straight through the oil pan while I was over in Maryland. And then when I called my road service company (whom I had faithfully paid for over 15 years) - they would not tow it under the service contract because I had a ladder strapped to the top of it - claimed it was a "commercial" van, not covered under the contract -

Not many things worse than car trouble Scottie, especially so far from home.
Threw a rod in my SUV last October...now I have a nice Chevy Avalanche...and a nice hefty car payment.
