I bought an engagement ring!

Just got an engagement ring, and I plan on asking my girlfriend to marry me. It's a little over a carat in size. This price smokes any of the stores I've looked at. I got it on ebay here:

Our 2 year anniversary is on July 14th, but I think I'll pop the question a bit later than that. Maybe a couple weeks after. I'm definitely in love with her and can't imagine spending my days with anyone else.

Also, she supports my cigar addiction and smokes them herself occasionally.

Just had to get that off my chest, I'm really excited.

Holy crap, you just gave me an idea. Maybe I can hold a contest on here, and the person with the best idea on how I should pop the question can win some cigars or something. Problem is, this ring will cut into my cigar funds for a LONG, LONG time.

I started with a surprise steak dinner at my place on a night which I told her we were just going to the movies. The night before, I got a Build-a-Bear all dressed up in a tux and I recorded my voice in one of those things. When pressed, it (me) says "Blah blah blah, mushy mushy mushy, will you marry me?"

During dinner, I went to the restroom and called my best friend who was waiting next to my house in his car. That was his cue to come up and put the bear on my front porch along with two dozen roses. He rang the door bell and ran away. I had her get the door. She grabbed the bear, listened to it, and turned around to see me on one knee with the ring.

I did that last July. Fast forward a little bit, and now I'm getting married next Saturday, July 7.
