Thanks in advance of my 1 year anniversary

Tomorrow will be one full year in the jungle and I would like to put into words what the last year has meant to me.

First, I have learned a lot about cigars which has cost me money and saved me money by knowing what to buy and what not to buy. I have smoked a lot of cigars and learned which ones "do it for me". I have smoked some real dog rockets and that helped me develop my buy/age strategy. I have gone from a 20ct cuban crafters to a 75ct, to a 20, 75 and 100ct, to a 500ct and finally to where I am now which is a 500ct humi, a cooler, a small humi and 6 travel humis. I have gone from a cheap cutter to another and then another and then finally to a Palio and then a second Palio to travel with. I have gone from matches and a cheapie lighter to well, still some cheapie lighters with a blazer pb-207 as my main lighter and a z-torch as my backup.

Second, I have met quite a few people through CS and hopefully made friends for life. Some of the nicest people I deal with on a regular basis are here at CS. CS is a great environment for me to get the information that I want and the camaraderie I need since nobody in my family/friend circle enjoys cigars.

Third, I have seen a lot of nice things happen such as the 1000s of cigars raised by CS members and sent to the troops. I hope I have contributed at least a little to that effort but either way it is an awesome thing to see.

Fourth, I have learned when to post and when to search and that reading more and posting less has been working for me lately.

Fifth, skypers will say/do almost anything......

Last, I feel like with the constant ostracism or smokers of any sort in our country that it has been extremely nice to have the fellowship of other people that Love the Leaf.

Thanks to PDS, the MODs, and all of the CS members that have touched my life in the last year.

Well said Scottie and congrats on your 1 year Anni. If it werent for CS I probably wouldnt have met you, and for that I am thankful. You're a great BOTL and an even better friend, and its guys like you that make the jungle so great. Now get back to TX, Ive got some tainos that I need to share with ya
