Too COOOOL!! They are coming to to Oklahoma City in March - we might...just might see them. Although, making Duck sit through a RUSH concert would be considered cruel and unusual punishment since she HATES THEM!

I've been a huge fan for a very long time.

Re: Going to see Rush tonight!

I saw Rush last September 9th at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN. The second major concert of my life, first being The Eagles in 2004 in Duluth, MN. I was blown away. They are an amazing group. Geddy sounds as good as ever, I think better than he does on the R30 Concert DVD from their 2004 tour.

Rush is my favorite group that is currently touring. Sat in the 21st row on Alex's side. They opened with Limelight and I nearly had tears in my eyes. Plan on seeing them again this year in St. Paul and Chicago for their second leg of their "Snakes & Arrows" tour through the US.

Now if we can just get Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin to tour.

I SOOOOO wanted to see them on the 30th Anniversary tour, but they sold out two nights at Great Woods (here in Mass), and I foolishly thought they'd swing through again. Luckily, I TIVO'd the concert on INHD, and watched it several times until my wife taped over it with episodes of Entourage

I thought your favorite was Tom Sawyer.

On another note, I just secured tickets to the Atlanta show. The venue is not open yet so I am not sure how good they are, but at least I know I will be going. If I had to guess, they are about 20 rows back from the stage on Alex's side.

Re: Going to see Rush tonight!

This concert is getting close and I am getting excited again. I just learned that the new set list does includes my favorite song, Red Barchetta.

WOOOOHOOOO! I can't wait. I was at the first concert for their Snakes and Arrows Tour and I will be at the last. I think it is really cool that they opened their tour in Atlanta and are finishing it here as well.

Here are a couple links for either the uninformed or others who haven't heard it for a bit.

Red Barchetta

And of course my namesake.

Tom Sawyer

These guys have still got it after being together for 40 years. Neil Peart is still considered one of the greatest percussionists of all time and Geddy and Alex are unbelievable as well. Let's all hope they keep playing, recording and touring for many years into the future.

Re: Going to see Rush tonight!

I have to add another link so everyone can appreciate how bad ass Neil Peart is on drums.

The Best Percussionist Solo You will Ever Hear.
