it's good to hear your dad is ok. my dad is slowly getting better, although i don't think he'll ever fully recover. my mom says he looks like an old man- my brother and i tell her he is an old man.

Glad to hear you're feeling better. My mom had another episode 4 hours after they got home from Atlantic City. Not as bad as the first one, but still bad enough to take her to the ER. They did a day full of tests and diagnosed it as Renal Something Something. Some kind of kidney disease that, if not treated could lead to a heart attack. They gave her a prescription for something close to Valeum (Spelled right?) if she has another attack. When she had the attack you could see the arteries in her neck pulsing like crazy. She was all dizzy and cold too. Better now though. Edisonbird, take care of yourself. Don't know if your health oriented but drink at least 8 ounces of fresh carrot juice twice a day. My mom is getting back into that and she is already starting to notice a difference. Just a bit of friendly advice. Feel better man! I'll smoke a cigar for you tonight!

I drink a combination of carrot, beet and parsley juice twice a day. I stopped drinking it about 6 months ago, but believe me the juicer came out of the closet as soon as I got home!

Wow, glad you're ok e-bird. I have all the good signs too. Good BP and cholestorol count but I'm always wondering...my dad had the triple bypass thingy done when he was 49. I've been eating chicken too!
