I thought this was a great story - it'd be interesting to see more of what the animal psychologist has to say and whether she ends up studying the cat's actions anymore. Kinda freaks me out, personally.

Animals can sense things are wrong, I think that them allowing Oscar to stay with a patient who is about to depart this Earth very comforting.
