Big Day tommorrow...

Well, I talked to my girlfriends parents this afternoon about asking their daughter to marry me and they gave me their blessing. Tommorrow is the big day for me when I finally pop the question, wish me luck because hiding this ring has been hell Hopefully I'll have a good story either tommorrow or tuesday. I feel like Im sitting on pins and needles, Im very excited

Gotta respect a guy that asks the parents first. I remember being fairly nervous in the period of time between asking her parents and actually asking her (this wasn't too long ago for me.) Good luck and I hope she says yes!

Gotta respect the guy that asks for permission. I did the same thing when I was ready to pop the question. My future father-in-law played a cruel joke on me however. He figured it was about time or that we talking about it, so when I asked him he got really mad and p.o.'d and started hollering, etc. The whole time I was just standing there waiting for him to finish. When he was done he asked if there was anything I wanted to say, I said sure I was gonna marry her either way. Then her mom started laughing and he started laughing and I was like What The .....? Then they told me about their idea. He wasn't a smoking man but he was a drinking man and right then and there he opened a bottle of 40 year old scotch, and gave me his blessings. To this day we have a great marriage, and when we get togather for family gatherings they all have a laugh at my expense, but in the end I still go home with the daughter. Good luck by the way.
