Wisconsin State Firefighter Memorial Ride - Couple Pix
The Wisconsin State Firefighters Memorial (http://www.wsfm.org) ride was this weekend. I didn't get a chance to snap any pics (since I was riding in that engine behind the pickup truck) but I found these on our local newspaper site. Pics are from The Sheboygan Press - Bruce Halmo...Is that enough to keep me from getting in trouble by posting these??? anyway, over 800 bikes at one time stretching close to 7 miles, they stopped at 5 different fire stations and had a really nice ceremony at the end including a speech from a brother that was at the WTC 9/11, a bag piper, and an honor guard that rang out a 333 code (eyes always get a little moist when they do that). All and all a hell of a day and good times were had by all. I would encourage everyone to participate in group rides similar to this one for any good cause.
