Thanks for all the prayers guys. It really proves that prayer does work and we have a real strong brotherhood here.

We went see him yesterday and my wife said he looked 10x better than he did the previous day. He was very alert and he seemed to be in a real good mood. Hopefully they will release him today, so everything is looking great. Thanks again!

Update:

He finally went home yesterday, but will have to go back in about a month for more evaluations and possibly surgery. It was funny...he got home around 4 and by 5 he was drinking a beer and smoking a cigar! I guess he doesn't want to spend his last years not enjoying the things he enjoys to do and I can respect that.

Aside from that, he is feeling real well. We're going over tomorrow to eat some artery-clogging ribs! mmmmm

Thats good to hear. What was his go to cigar?

Miller lite is fine!

Ribs in VA? I wonder how they compare to KC ribs.
