My Evening with the Prince

I went to the local B&M today and picked up Prince Albert/PA:Cherry Vanilla and a couple corn cobs. I lit up a bowl of PA, and must say that it is better than the John Middleton Blend Walnut, it was still a bland kind of tobacco. Infact, It tasted kind of soapy and watered down. I tried the PA:CV and there wasn't much of a taste to that either, just a watered down taste.

Could they need to dry out a bit, or is this the normal taste for PA?

Re: My Evening with the Prince

Only had the straight PA and at fresh from the pouch and sipped too slowly I also have noticed a very slight soapy taste. (hey, maybe I'll really like Lakeland's huh?)

But as for the watered down taste - I dunno. It's certainly not a complex tobacco but I have always found it to be quite flavorful...and a flavor that can be made to vary over a wide range of smaoking pace and heat.
I have only had 1 "fresh" bowl of PA...since then i have allowed it to dry a bit first. Maybe???
Sorry I'm not more help
