2002 Christmas cheer Maduro

One of the B&M's I go to has this on their shelf, and cheaper than this years. Anyone try this, is it any good? I'm a pipe newb, and have never heard of maduro tobacco for a pipe.Thanks

have you done a search online for it, or look on tobaccoreviews.com ? if you can't find it in either attempt, it may not be real.

is it in a tin that says Christmas Cheer (and made by McClellands)? is the word "maduro" on the tin?

edit: i just did a handful of searches and could not find anything that says "maduro" on a tin of McClellands Christmas Cheer.

Just to throw this out, I am 99% sure there is no CC Maduro. McC makes a blend called Dominican Glory that has maduro leaf in it. Maybe you saw both and kinda ran them together.......or it could be a house blend made to ride the coattails of the CC.

Yep the only thing that I have ever heard of was the Dominican Glory Maduro, it is in the same red colored tin and also a flake.
