Carved another... rough finish
This is actually re-carve of one that I did a while back....just got sick of the smooth finish so I did this one... there is some smooth finish left on it...around the stem.... on the bottom... on the top, and a random bit of smoothness I sanded in just for fun....

MY aromatic smoker






The pics kinda suck....its a neat pipe, sorta bulldogish in shape.

12-15 hrs about....

The inpiration for this pipe came from a pipe Freddy (rockstar) just got..... and not the pipe shape or anything.... the texture....Love it.

Nice Jeremy! btw...is there a button on your camera that looks like a little flower? If so, push that and then take your picture. That is what is called macro mode and it allows you to take pictures of items much closer and with much more detail. It looks like this:

Not being a pipe guy, without any real experience, it looks very comfortable to hold, and I imagine that is one of the most important things about the shape.

Nice work Jeremy. I am a big fan of rustication on pipes and have patented my own technique, i sure you will end up doing the same as you go further into this pipe carving. I wont hijack your thread by posting pics of my own pipes but if you are interested PM me with your email addy and i will sned you some pics to show you want can be achieved with a little perseverance.

I swear i had it in that mode....Its a $79 5mp digital camera from best buy.... that could be the problem ...I'll bring it next time i see you and you can school me on it.
