My Pipes, carved by me :)

Hey, I had been here a while and didn't even know there was a whole pipe section. DOH! Well I thought I would share a couple of my pipes that I have carved. Hope you all enjoy.

This was my very first one. I did not dye it and now it has a lot of use put on it, so the grain shows a lot more. I need to take some updated pics.

This was the second one I ever did. I made it for my uncle, who kind of got me started on pipes. I always remember that sweet smell around the holidays when we would all get together. He loved it and it was a total shock as he had no idea that I had felt that way.

I still have a couple kit blocks that I plan to complete one day. especially since they are much better grain than these two. Oh well, some day.

who did you get the kit blocks from? Pimo, tinsky, tim west, someplace else?
they look cool. i may have to do that as an Xmas present to myself this year. i got a dremel last year, have only used it on a pinewood derby car so far.

I've thought about doing the same thing, once I come across my dremel again. It wound't have to be anything fancy, just something with a sizeable bowl that I had made myself.

Thanks guys. It was from Pimo. I had to send one back because the bowl was waaay off center, but she was helpful in getting me a good one the second time. Also, I do like how you can choose what mouthpiece you want.

I've been thinking about doing that myself this year. I also got a Dremel for Christmas last year and haven't even taken it out of the case.
