Old Cope's Escudo
Just got in a VERY old tin of Cope's Escudo. This tin has to be form the '60s at least. The weight is in ounces....no grams or Euro sign on this baby!
What was also interesting was on the lid this statement was printed on top: "Free from all scent and added flavors" This is not on the newer tins. Fortunate to have two of these, and one, one ounce tin. I had another 3 1/2 ounce tin but I gave it to Mike Gluker from Briar Blues. He said this was one of his all time favorite tobaccos, so I smoked a bowl and gave him the rest. Just waiting for IHT to come back into town to crack one of these open! |
