My first 2 bowls in over 10 years...

are thanks to the pipe forum here at CS. I keep getting pulled down here from the cigar forum for one reason or another and I finally went ahead and ordered some tobak and a pipe.



I mostly went off of the top 10 on smokingpipes.com and the small Stanwell really caught my eye. Last night I had a bowl of Frog Morton and Odyssey and really enjoyed them. So, thanks fellow gorillas for helping me find a new slope. I think.

Sawyer, great way to start, nice choice of baccy's and that stanwell won't let you down, one of the nicest I've seen from them...I like your taste. I'd recommend a couple of corn cobs, just so that pipe doesn't get too confused with all those different baccy's smoked in the same pipe.

Welcome back to the Dark Side! You have selected some very nice tobaccos and a great pipe to get restarted! As suggested above, do pick yourself up a couple of Corn Cobb Pipes to give that new pipe a break from time to time, until you pick up some other nice pipes. The Cobb's are always fun to smoke and are usually great little smokers.

Funny you should mention that. I already ordered some cobs and other accessories from Frenchy.
