Dating Tins based on Labeling
So I've noticed at several B&M's as I look throguh their pipe tobacco that they usually have several different types of labels on the same blend tin.
i.e. - Peterson Sherlock Holmes white background with pink outline sticker and another tin with a purple background and white outline i.e. - Dunhill 965 sticker vs. 965 with fully painted tin lid Anyone know how to date these tins and what I should be on the lookout for?

Re: Dating Tins based on Labeling
check Bruce's reply in another thread HERE, about the Dunhills. he provides a couple links that will hopefully hook you up with knowledge there.
as far as Peterson goes, i haven't a clue.
