Ok, so in keeping with moving forward with pipe smoking, I won a new pipe on Ebay....not really anything about pipes (other than what I have been reading) I did have a question about this beaut:

Dunno .... I've seen a screw in a Sanda pipe once, that was actually made of plastic with a metal bowl insert & the screw in the bottom of the bowl ... like that one ... fastened the bowl insert to the rest of the pipe. Had replacable rubber rings bedween the plastic tendon & the stem ...
