Looking for Experiences with Viprati Pipes.

Given the opportunity to purchase one, would you? And if you have, what have been your experiences with them?

I've been trying to find information on these pipes and so far what I've gathered is that they are very well made pipes. They also command a pretty steep price from those I have been able to find via retail channels. What would be an expected price for an estate on one that'd retail (guessing) from $180-250?

This would be either the second or third pipe added to my collection, so I'm trying to be as dilligent as possible.

you're a month or so late. one of our members just sold one for somewhere around $45-60 i think (cuz i bought it).
smokes great, the couple of times i've been able to use it.

I own one and love it.

Viprati visited my local B&M with tons of pipes. They are very well made and beutiful to boot.

I owed a viprati bought it new on ebay for 60- 70. sold it here. nice pipe, smoked well the few times I smoked it.

I would take a cavicchi over a viprati any day.

Thanks for the info, folks. Well, the whole reason why I've been asking about it is because I came across one on eBay that has a beautiful flame-like grain and was debating buying it (but the price has travelled close to where I am willing to spend).
