i guess i will never understand what the big deal is with this pipemaker. i mean most of his pipes have the same slight curve along the bottom. you will have to look up his pipes to see what i mean. i have never seen him do a canadian, poker, lovat, hawkbill etc.. if he did would they have that same boring curve from the shank to the tip of the mouthpiece? can he make anything but that same boring style? if the guy is making cash, good for him but i just don't see the hysteria.

just looked on his site and he can make other shapes as i mentioned, my bad.

That's is breathtakingly beautiful!

I've not smoked a pipe in over 20 years and back then all I could afford and what the smoke shop in downtown OKC suggested was a Rossi. Back then, I had a particular preference for the IQ tobacco blend.

This almost makes me want to purchase a pipe again, but the cigars eat away at the budget enough.

Incredibly bad day at work today. Had to relax and relieve some stree. So even though it was absolutely $hitty outside (freezing rain), I went out and fired up my new "chubby" in the garage. Filled it with '83 Red Flake and fired my new Roush up.

Incredible pipe! Absolutely no "break in" problems (as always with a Roush). The pipe smoked smooth and cool. The thick briar never got hot even though I was smoking quite fast. The pipe was well balanced and I could hold it in my mouth very comfortably even though this is a pipe that is a bit heavier that I usually like.

A great pipe from a great maker!
