PCCA just released it's new Orient 996 and is shipping orders now.
Only 318 tins made, this sounds like a blend destined to be a classic.
Matured high sugar red Virginias, rare yenidjie, samsun, katerini, and Syrian latakia make up this blend, and it sound mighty tasty to me.

These tobaccos are in very limited amount. These are the same tobaccos that made up legendary blends such as Balkan Sobranie Original and the classic 759.

This allotment is almost sold out so if you are thinking about picking up a few tins, now may be the time.
As for me, I bought quite a few tins to cellar because IMHO this may become a "holy grail" tobacco years from now!

I saw the description a while back and ordered a couple, myself. The tins are attractive too! I was going to get some more, but I'll bet that your recommendation will cause a run on them lol! At least I have a few in hand

PCCA tobaccos are usually small batch releases, specifically blended with ageing in mind.

All the ones I have tried have been very good......some stellar!
Plus the fact it's possible to by well aged tobaccos at low prices. 1996 Dulcet is an excellent vintage Virginia for just under ten bucks!

Recently, P&T magazine rated there tobaccos. Virtually all there tobacs received high ratings. Good for PCCA and Bob Hamlin, bad for us as they sold out of most of the good stuff within a few weeks.

PCCA blends are made by McClellands currently, so the tobacco is first rate and well balanced.

This is one tobacco thatI keep a look out for on Ebay. There are many long gone, limited release blends that are excellent. Usually you can get them at a decent price as this is not a "big name" tobacco.......but I think that may be changing.

I just happend to check their page the other day and saw these mixtures....
then i saw they had an extremely limited amount left.

so i begrudgling picked up a few tins of Tudor Castle, and Orient.
Then today, i thought... man.. the past few blends i got from PCCA were damn good..
and these things seem to be selling like crazy.
So against better judgement, i picked up a bunch more of the Orient to cellar away for 5 or 10 years

Then i stop by here for the 1st time in ages, and i notice your post about the tobacs.
no wonder its almsot sold out,I bet bruce bought em all

Im hoping they dont start jacking their prices up now that they have a following...
Notice how the price of these 2 blends are going up a buck.
Hmm i wonder why.. maybe because they almost SOLD OUT before they even got the orders shipped.

Well, when i get my order, ill crack open one tin of each and give em a try young.
The rest of em get a 1year, 5year, and 10 years naps.
If they show promise in their young state, i will probably pick up another 500g when they re-issue them...

My order of the Orient 996 arrived day before yesterday. Last I heard, the Tudor was supposed to start shipping today, or there abouts. Website said something about another release of these tabaks in the spring, but at higher prices.
