Latakia Nic Content?

Does Latakia have a high Nicotine content? I have been working on a tin of Dunhill Nightcap and Dunhill Durbar which both have Latakia in them. After every bowl I smoke I get a sinus headache, which makes me drowsy. I do not notice this with any other tobacco. When I smoked cigarettes in the past I would get the same headaches from the nic. I don't inhale my pipe smoke but I know nicotine still gets in your system.

Dunhill Nightcap is Medium to Strong in Nico content, most Latakia's are stronger in content than aromatics or light VA's. Don't try Peterson's Irish Flake whatever you do. If you like Latakia, but not the nico content, try mixing it with a mild VA or semi-aromatic. Best of both worlds.

I always get sinus headaches if I exhale through my nose. Also I have similar problems with smoking certain different tobaccos, like all four Peterson tobaccos I've tried and C&D Sunset Breeze. In your case it could just be the latakia. Everybody is different so you'll just have to experiment around and figure it out yourself.
