Hey everyone. Just introduced to the cigar forum but am mainly a pipe smoker so after looking around saw this forum and here I am. Have smoked a pipe off and on since High School (in the 50s) and really enjoy them. Most likely will not have too much to contribute but will avidly read all posts and surly glean a lot of valuable information from a lot of folks with a vast amount of information.
My interests are primitive camping (a group known as The American Mountainmen) and Fly fishing (make my own rods and tie all my own flys)
Retired from law enforcement for the past 4 years and loving every minute.
Thanks for the opportunity to join in the forum.

I use spell check all the time but since it's not here I hope I did not butcher the language too bad.

Also, I am a graphic designer, and the Design Berlin pipes are my favorite designs (well some of them)

Howdy gang. On and off occasional smoker since college, for some reason the bug has really hit me the last month. I've gone from maybe one bowl a month to about 2 a week. Even after 22 years, I still struggle with filling and keeping the thing lit, unfortunately I know no other brothers of the briar in person to guide me.

Nice to see there's a low-key place to hang out, talk and learn.
