Well good ol Evan told me he wanted to send me some sample Bulrey tobaccos to try since I have never tried any.

Well he sent me 11 examples to try and I must say the 1st thing I did was rip into them and gave em all a sniff. WOW they smell great, reminds me of the old tobacco shop smell when i was a kid.

Sitting here right now trying my 1st blend ( G&H Kendal Kentucky) and it is pretty good (nic hit is pretty good).

Evan if the others are even better then this then I just may be a Burley man.

Glad you're digging it Shawn. I think you'll find that appreciating Burleys can really help round out your tobacco lineup!!

Are the rest of the Burleys better than the Kendal Kentucky? You know it's not that simple. Kendal Kentucky is probably the "straight up" of the bunch. But they are all Burley-based and have great merits IMO.

Kentucky was the 1st one, I am now smoking the C&D Crooner and this is pretty good also.

I think burleys just get a bad rap because they are used in cigarettes, but that stands to reason because they're a great all around tobacco that can take any role in a blend.
