Pipe addiction bigger than cigar addiction?

I can skip a day or two - perhaps because I'm busy or have a head cold, etc and not miss or crave it in the slightest bit. Try that with cigarettes or chewing tobacco...

My experience too. I was married to Pall Malls, Marlboros, Kodiak and Copenhagen; first smoke or dip started before breakfast. When I changed to cigars (after snuff) I looked forward to, and enjoyed, one a day - preferably a long, fat 75-minute one. It was hard to miss smoking that one (or two).

Pipes are different. I'll skip a days without feeling any physical consequence.

Ill agree with paperairplane. Ive never felt physically addicted to the nic from a pipe or cigar, but I love the ritual of it all to the point that its something I really want to do when I can. Like others said though, if I had to stop tomorrow, it would be no problem whatsoever.
