Re: Escudo in a cob
Cobs are pretty decent. I've recently been smoking mine more often. I didn't much care for the small bowl so I figured out that you can bore them out to a greater diameter without affecting the burn and you can open up the shank to accept a 9mm filter too if you want. I still don't like the cheap stems but I'll find a solution to that too.

Re: Escudo in a cob
I enjoy my cobs. Smoke them at work or when doing something that may damage a briar if it were to fall on the ground.
For a good deal on briars, you may want to look into buying an estate pipe or two. I have been buying lots of estates on Ebay the last few months and have had some really nice ones turn up. I even made a blog earier this week to document my attempts at restoring the pipes I get. www.pipecollecting.blogspot.com |
